National Jet Systems (NJS) has changed the BAe 146-100 it operates for Norfolk Jet Express. 146-100 VH-NJD (msn E1160) had been operating for Norfolk Jet Express on services from Norfolk Island to Brisbane and Sydney since May 1997. In early April, she was replaced by sistership VH-NJY (msn E1005). VH-NJD will be leased to Flightline, for operation on behalf of Falkands Islands-based British South Atlantic Airways, pending delivery of the latter airline’s own Boeing 737-200. She was to have been replaced on the Norfolk services by 146-100 N246SS (msn E1003), who was painted in Norfolk Jet Express colors at Stansted. However, NJS decided to use a different aircraft for the Norfolk services, and E1003 remains at Stansted.
