BAE Systems planned to display an Avro RJ100 at the National Business Aviation Association (NBAA) convention in New Orleans, but the closure of US airspace as a result of the attacks on 11 September resulted in the convention being cancelled. The appropriately-registered RJ100 G-NBAA (msn E3386) had been configured to display the large area available for conversion into executive/corporate configuration. The rear cabin was configured with different seating arrangements. She left Woodford for New Orleans on 11 September. She only made it as far as Goose Bay, Canada, before further progress was prevented by the closure of US airspace. She returned to Woodford on the 13th.
