Swissair’s financial problems have also led to the termination of Flightline’s contract to operate four BAe 146-200s on <Swissair Express services. Swissair created the Swissair Express brand in late 1998 in an effort to upgrade its codeshare flights to a more Swissair-like product. Debonair was the first Swissair Express operator. After Debonair collapsed, Flightline took over the contract, operating three series 200s mainly on routes to Italy and a series 300 on routes to the UK. The four 146s are currently parked at Southend airport.
