Air Canada’s new regional subsidiary, Jazz, is adopt a capacity purchase model, replacing its existing revenue sharing arrangement with its parent airline. Beginning on 1 August, Air Canada will pay jazz a flat fee per flight. The arrangement is similar to that in place between most US airlines and their regional partners. Jazz operates ten BAe 146-200s.
