Czech travel agency Discovery Aviation suspended scheduled operations on 4 January. The airline cited problems at its Kunovice Airport base as the main reason for the suspension. The company says it intends to resume scheduled services in March; in the meantime, it will concentrate on charter flights. Flightline and WDL Aviation had been operating BAe 146s on Discovery’s behalf during December. Flightline ended its operation on 23 December, and WDL early in January. The 146s were to have been replaced with a pair of former Turkish Airlines Avro RJ100s operated by Flightline, but these aircraft are in any case not yet available due to the need to repair some corrosion damage.
