Romavia to lease a BAe 146

Romanian airline Romavia is to lease a former Meridiana BAe 146-200 from BAE Systems. The aircraft, G-BVMS (msn E2227), was recently rolled out from Sprayavia’s paintshop at Norwich. Bucharest-based Romavia has a long history of operating British-built aircraft, having flown BAC One-Elevens for many years.


Lufthansa Regional boosts BAe 146 fleet

BAE Systems has signed several major leases with airlines of the Lufthansa Regional group. Under the agreements, Eurowings will receive six additional BAe 146-300s, and Air Dolomiti will receive five BAe 146-300s. Both airlines are wholly-owned by Lufthansa.
