Faroe Island-based BAe 146 operator Atlantic Airways has added former a Swiss Avro RJ100, msn E3357, to its fleet as OY-RCC. Built in 1999, she was delivered to Crossair in September of that year and later transferred to Swiss. After painting at Norwich, she was flown to Atlantic Airways’ base at Vágar on 1 November. She is configured with 97 seats, compared to 83 seats on the airline’s BAe 146-200s. The RJ100 replaces BAe 146-200 OY-RCW (msn E2115), which was returned to BAE Systems on 31 October.
