The deadline for the completion of the deal for Flybe‘s takeover of BA Connect has been pushed back to 31 January. The two airlines had earlier indicated that they hoped to complete the deal before the end of the year.

British Airways is apparently bringing back the CityFlyer name for its new subsidiary. The new BA CityFlyer will take over BA Connect‘s Avro RJ100 fleet and London City services when the rest of BA Connect is acquired by Flybe.

Mr J.A. “Johnny” Johnstone, former Marketing Director on the HS/BAe 146 has passed away. Mr Johnstone was instrumental in keeping the HS 146 project alive at Hatfield during its early days of the project and after its revival in 1978.
WDL Aviation is operating BAe 146-200 D-AMGL (msn E2055) on behalf of Atlantic Airways, helping to cover for the loss of OY-CRG (msn E2075) at Stord on 10 October. D-AMGL had been operating on behalf of Air Nostrum, but returned to Germany on 28 November.
