Transwede will fly its Avro RJ70 on a new route from Stockholm Arlanda to London City on behalf of SAS. The new service, to begin on 13 February, will be flown twice daily on weekdays, and once on Sunday. The service complements the London City service SAS began last fall from Copenhagen, using Dash 8Q-400s. It is not clear whether the RJ70 will be painted in SAS’ own colors, or whether she will be reconfigured from her current high-density charter seating. This will be the first 146/RJ service into London City from Sweden since Malmö Aviation abandoned the route in 2000.
