Indonesian airline Air Efata (also known as Efata Papua Airlines) is understood to be negotiating with BAE Systems to lease several former Turkish Airlines Avro RJ100s. Air Efata flies domestic services in Indonesia with McDonnell Douglas MD-80s. Unlike many recent start-ups, Air Efata is a full service airline.
Transwede began operating an Avro RJ100 on behalf of Skyways on 20 August, using SE-DSO (msn E3221) from sister airline Malmö Aviation.
