Belgrade-based Centavia has been denied permission to operate charter services from the Belgrade to Zagreb. The services would have been the first to link the capitals of Serbia and Croatia in sixteen years, as all links were severed during the civil war that split Yugoslavia. The airline is also planning to serve Podgorica, in Montenegro. Centavia operates two BAe 146s. They have been flying them on charters thus far, but hope to start scheduled low-cost services soon.
