BAe 146 and Avro RJ operator CityJet is planning a major expansion of its services from London City Airport. Beginning on 26 March, CityJet will start adding services from London City to Genève, Madrid, Milano Linate, Nice, and Zürich. CityJet already flies from London City to Paris Orly and Dublin. Like CityJet’s other services, all the new services will be operated on behalf of Air France, in a new network dubbed “CityJet for Air France.” Additional services will be flown to Belfast Harbour, Dundee, and Edinburgh in cooperation with ScotAirways, bringing to ten the number of destinations in the CityJet for Air France network. With up to seventy daily flights, London City will become Air France’s largest hub outside Paris and Amsterdam.
