Swedish airline Transwede has acquired two Avro RJ85s from Swiss. The first, Avro RJ85 SE-DJN (msn E2231, ex HB-IXG) was ferried from Basel to Malmö on 10 May, following her withdrawal from service by Swiss. She was then flown to Eindhoven, where she was painted in full SAS colors but without titles. She then returned to Malmö. SE-DJN is due to replace Avro RJ70 EI-COQ on the SAS route from Stockholm Arlanda to London City. EI-COQ is due to be returned off-lease to Air Malta.
