Atlantic Airways has bought Swiss‘ two remaining Avro RJ85s. The first, RJ85 OY-RCD (msn E2235 ex HB-IXK) was ferried from Basle to Norwich on 28 September. She emerged from the Sprayavia paintshop all white with a SAS logo in a blue square on the fin — a color scheme used by several regional airlines operating for SAS. She was then ferried to Vágar on 6 October. RJ85 HB-IXH (msn E2233) should follow her later this year, as OY-RCE. Her delivery will bring Atlantic Airways’s BAe 146/Avro RJ fleet to seven, including three 146-200s, two RJ85s, and two RJ100s.
