Indonesian airline buys former Flybe BAe 146

Indonesian regional airline PT Aviastar Mandiri has bought former Flybe BAe 146-300 G-JEBC (msn E3189). The deal was arranged by Aircraft Leasing and Management (ALM). Flybe is disposing of its fleet of BAe 146s as it replaces them with Embraer 195s and Bombardier Q400s. The 146 will represent a substantial step up in size for Aviastar, whose current fleet consists of two DHC-6 Twin Otters.
