Another African airline is reported to be planning to operate BAe 146s. National Airways Cameroon (NACAM) is said to be planning to replace its single leased Boeing 737-200 with three BAe 146s. NACAM began operations in July 2007, linking Douala and Yaoundé to various domestic destinations. The 146s would be used to start services to neighboring countries. The potential source of the 146s is not known. NACAM is a joint venture between Cameroonian and Belgian interests. An earlier incarnation of the company had briefly used a Yak-40 on domestic services.
