Air Congo has acquired three BAe 146s from BAE System Regional Aircraft. The 146s will complement those the airline is already operating. The three aircraft involved (msns E2090, E2092, and E2096) were all originally built for AirBC and later taken over by Air Canada Jazz. They have been in storage since 2005. The deal was announced by Stuart Begg, Director Technical Sales for BAE Systems Asset Management, at the Air Finance for Africa Conference in Addis Ababa. No delivery date was specified.
