CityJet‘s Avro RJ85s will take over services from London City to Amsterdam Schiphol from VLM‘s and KLM Cityhopper’s Fokker 50s. CityJet will operate eight times a day on the route, replacing VLM’s eleven daily flights and KLM Cityhopper’s seven. The United Kingdom’s Office of Fair Trading made a reduction in Air France-KLM Group‘s services on the route a condition of approving their takeover of VLM. By putting 95-seat RJ85s on the route, Air France-KLM can continue offering a similar total capacity. VLM’s Fokker 50s will replace CityJet RJ85s on the London City to Eindhoven route.
