More BAe 146 have been parted out, victims of the bleak economic conditions that gave them little hope of returning to the air, particularly if an expensive heavy check is needed. Two BAe 146s met their ends at Southend. Former Air China series 100 FAB-098, never having been delivered to Bolivia’s Transporte Aéreo Militar (TAM) after it opted for series 200s, was parted out in December 2008. Former Flightline series 200 G-DEFM (msn E2016) is also being parted out at Southend. She last flew in late November 2008. Lessor Tronos parted out former Air Wisconsin series 200 N606AW (msn E2033), who had been intended for conversion to air tanker, following Minden Air‘s decision to procure a different example for this purpose. Parting out began on 5 January and was completed in late February.
