E-Jets enter service at BA CityFlyer

BA CityFlyer placed its first Embraer 170 into service on 27 September, replacing Avro RJs on routes to Edinburgh and Amsterdam. Just two days earlier, RJ100 G-BZAX (msn E3356) flew her last service, from London City to Glasgow, still wearing BA Connect titles. On the following day, she was ferried to Kemble for hand back maintenance with Chevron Technical Services. The rest of the airline’s RJ100s and RJ85s will gradually also be returned off-lease as additional E-Jets arrive.
