Cobham freighter contract extended

Cobham Aviation Services has won an extension to its contract to operate three BAe 146QTs on behalf of Australian Air Express. The 146QTs are used for overnight freight services connecting Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, and Adelaide. Cobham, then known as National Jet Systems, first began flying for Australian Air Express in 1992. The current extension, worth about A$100 million, will last through 2015.
