BA CityFlyer extends Avro RJ operations

BA CityFlyer has extended operations of its last Avro RJ into July. The airline was to have ended Avro RJ operations by late June, once sufficient Embraer E-Jets had been received. Indeed, the remaining RJ fleet had been further reduced, with RJ100 G-CFAA (msn E3373) ferried to Kemble for handback maintenance on 22 April and RJ85 G-LGYC (msn E2385) following on 3 June, leaving only RJ85 G-LCYB (msn E2383). However, a bottleneck in E-Jet pilot training has resulted in G-LCYB soldiering on a little longer. She is being used primarily on the routes to Glasgow and Nice.
