MDLR to resume operations?

MDLR Airlines is apparently seeking to resume operations, which were suspended in October 2009 after India’s Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) issued a show-cause notice to the airline for several safety violations. The airline has reportedly applied to the DGCA for approval to import two Avro RJs to allow operations to resume. MDLR had operated three Avro RJ70s, although only one was still in use at the time flights ceased.
