New Zealand’s sole BAe 146, series 200 ZK-ECO (msn E2130), is now being operated by Vincent Aviation. The 146 had been parked at Auckland Airport since its previous operator, Air National, was grounded in early February over safety violations. Air National eventually surrendered its AOC. Vincent Aviation is owned by Peter Vincent, a former Ansett New Zealand 146 captain. The airline operates a variety of aircraft, including Reims Cessna F406s, Beech 1900s, and Bombardier Dash 8s, on charters and long-term contracts. Many are based in northern Australia. ZK-ECO was formally registered to Vincent Aviation on 23 June, but had already flown on Vincent’s AOC on 7 June, when a church group had chartered a large number of aircraft.
