BAe 146 OO-DJJ has been painted in Korongo colors (Daniel Prezeau)
Korongo Airlines, the Congolese airline being set up by Brussels Airlines in partnership with Georges Forrest International (GFI), is still awaiting final approval from the country’s authorities. In the meantime, a second BAe 146-200 has been painted in the airline’s colors. OO-DJJ (msn E2196) had been in storage at Bruxelles Zaventem since 2008, still in the colors of stillborn AirDC. She was ferried to Norwich on 12 August, and returned to Bruxelles in Korongo colors on 18 August. Like her sistership OO-MJE (msn E2192), she will be used on regular Brussels Airlines routes while awaiting their transfer to Africa.
