Albanian Airlines grounded

Citing safety concerns, the Albanian Civil Aviation Authority revoked the operating certificate of Albanian Airlines on 11 November, grounding the airline. Albanian operated three BAe 146s: a series 200 (ZA-MAL, msn E2054) and two series 300s (ZA-MAN, msn E3203, and ZA-MEV, msn E3197). Albanian rejected the allegations of unsafe practices, and accused the Albanian authorities of acting to favor rival Belle Air, though this latter airline also had one of its aircraft grounded.
