Namib Air Express launch delayed

Opposition from Namibia’s national airline, Air Namibia, has stymied Namib Air Express‘s plans to launch low-cost services from Windhoek’s close-in Eros Airport to South African destinations using leased BAe 146s. The original early September start date was pushed back to mid-October, but that date has also fallen through. The airline has declared its intention of persevering in its efforts and is seeking to to rally support from the public through its Facebook page.
