Bulgaria Air has begun the process of renewing its fleet. The airline took delivery of its first Embraer 190 in early March, and a second is due in April. Five are on order, but Bulgaria ultimately plans to operate a fleet of nine of the type by the end of 2016. As the 190s arrive, they will gradually replace the airline’s five BAe 146s (two series 200s and three series 300s) and VIP-configured Avro RJ70.
