Indonesia’s Nusantara Air Charter has added an Avro RJ100 to its fleet. The aircraft in question, VH-NBU (msn E2343) was previously operated by Riau Airlines as PK-RAY, and has been in storage at Adelaide since that airline’s demise in 2010. After post-storage maintenance by Cobham Aviation Services Engineering, she left Adelaide on 7 July, still painted in Riau colors, and after a few days wait in Perth for delivery clearance continued on to Indonesia on 13 July. Her first stop in Indonesia was at Indopelita’s facility at Pondok Cabe. Once she has been painted, she will join series 200 PK-JKW (msn E2204) and series 200QT freighter PK-JKC (msn E2113) in Nusantara service.
