BAe 146-300 ZS-SBR in modified Air Annobón colors (Omer Mees)
A second BAe 146 is being prepared for service with Equatorial Guinea’s Air Annobón. The airline is already leasing BAe 146-300 ZS-SOR (msn E3155) from Fair Aviation. SZ-SOR departed Lanseria for Equatorial Guinea on 5 July, but has apparently not yet been able to begin service due to delays in obtaining an AOC. Nevertheless, she is soon to be joined by Series 300 ZS-SBR (msn E3155) from the same source. After repairs from damage suffered in a windstorm in January, she was ferried to Johannesburg’s O.R. Tambo Airport on 6 August. She returned to Lanseria on 21 October, bearing the name Hegañdt and painted in a similar color scheme as the first 146, but using darker reds.
