Former Atlantic Airlines BAe 146 OY-RCA awaiting conversion at Summerside (Rob Sowald)

Tronos has begun converting former Atlantic Airways BAe 146-200 OY-RCA (msn E2045) to an air tanker. OY-RCA had been in storage at Summerside since June 2010. She will be the fourth 146 air tanker for Neptune Aviation. Neptune put the the first 146 air tanker, N146FF/Tanker 40 (msn E2049), into service in October 2011, and the second, N471NA/Tanker 41 (msn E2136), in August. A third, N18FF/Tanker 10 (msn E2138), is at Neptune’s base at Missoula being prepared for service.
