RJ100 G-CEIH returns to Bacau after a test flight (Stefan Bogdanel)
The second Avro RJ100 for Air Libya, former Turkish Airlines RJ100 G-CEIH (msn E3232), is being prepared for delivery. She had been in storage at Bacău since February 2008. Following post-storage maintenance by Aerostar, she conducted a flight test on 30 December, still wearing basic Turkish Airlines colors. Later that day, she was ferried to Lelystad for painting. Air Libya’s first Avro RJ100, 5A-FLB (msn E3234 ex G-CCTB), was delivered on 13 December. The airline also operates BAe 146-300 5A-DKQ (msn E3191), and 146-200 ZS-SOV (msn E2077) on lease from South Africa’s Vulkan Air.
