Equatorial Guinea’s Air Annobón began service on 25 January with a flight from Malabo to Bata using BAe 146-300 ZS-SOR Palea (msn E3155). The 146 had been delivered in July 2012, but delays in obtaining an AOC prevented an earlier start of service. She did operate some flights on behalf of rival Cronos Airlines in October-November 2012, to cover for maintenance of the latter’s 146. ZS-SOR is leased from South Africa’s Fair Aviation; she is configured with 99 seats. A second BAe 146, Series 300 ZS-SBR Hegañdt (msn E3120), has been painted in Air Annobón’s colors, but is still at Lanseria.
