RJ85 D-AVRK arriving in Cochabama (Fernando Ruíz Vera via JRO/AviacionBoliviana.net)
New Bolivian airline Ecojet took delivery of a former Lufthansa RJ85 D-AVRK (msn E2278). The airline is planning to begin operations in May from its base in Cochabamba. D-AVRK had been retired from use by Lufthansa CityLine in December 2010, and used as a source of spares for some time. In mid 2012 the missing parts were replaced, and she was sold to FlairJet that October. She is only known to have flown a single charter for that airline, from Nürnberg to Genève on 11 March, before her sale to Ecojet. She departed Germany on 20 April, arriving in Cochabamba two days later.
