Eznis Airways’s two Avro RJ85s, JU-9909 (msn E2257) and JU-9915 (msn E2261), have been sold. JU9919 departed Ulaanbaatar on 18 April for Kyiv, and JU9909 followed on 7 May. Eznis’ acquisition of the RJ85s in 2011 was trumpeted by Falko, but in the event they remained in Mongolia for less than two years. The airline’s growth obviously proved too fast: in addition to the two RJ85s, Eznis also added a Boeing 737-700 in June 2012 and then two Bombardier Q400s.
