Jota Aviation has signed a letter of intent with lessor Falko Regional Aircraft to acquire an Avro RJ100. Former Brussels Airlines RJ100 OO-DWJ (msn E3355) will join Jota’s fleet at G-JOTS. Jota already operates BAe 146-200 G-SMLA (msn E2047) and Avro RJ85 G-JOTR (msn E2294). In Jota service, G-JOTS will be configured with 97 seats in a five abreast layout. G-JOTS is currently undergoing a maintenance check at Avalon Aero’s facility at Cranfield. She will then be painted prior to being delivered to Jota in late April. Jota is also looking to acquire a BAe 146QT freighter.
