Jota is operating Avro RJ85 G-JOTR (msn E2294) on behalf of Air France‘s regional subsidiary, Hop!. She positioned to Toulouse in the early hours of 1 August, then entered service on the morning roundtrip to Lyon (A5 4211/4212). In addition to Lyon, she has also flown services to Nice and Metz-Nancy. This new contract started just as Jota Aviation’s contract to operate services from Southend on behalf of Flybe and Stobart Air came to an end. Jota had been operating the services since early May, initially using RJ85 G-JOTR, with RJ100 G-JOTS taking over in early June. G-JOTS is now available for charters, alongside the airline’s VIP-configured BAe 146-200, G-SMLA (msn E2047), who has been keeping busy flying charters for sports teams.
