Cobham contract for Barrow Island flights renewed


Cobham Aviation Services‘s contract to provide flights between Perth and Barrow Island in support of Chevron’s operations and projects in Western Australia has been renewed for a further five years. Cobham has been flying for Chevron since 2010. Flights to Barrow Island require special precautions to avoid damaging the Class A nature reserve on the Island. Cobham’s fleet includes both BAe 146 and Avro RJs, in a variety of models and in both passenger and freighter configurations.
