Jota Aviation stops Hopping!

Jota Aviation‘s contract to operate an Avro RJ on behalf of Air France subsidiary Hop! ended on 28 October. Jota began flying for Hop! on 1 August, initially using RJ85 G-JOTR (msn E2294), with RJ100 G-JOTS (msn E3355) taking over on 9 September. G-JOTR then returned on 22 September, and both have been flying for the French airline since then. RJ100 G-JOTS last service for Hop! was a roundtrip from Lyon to Milano Malpensa as A5 4502/4503 on 27 October. She was then ferried back to London Stansted in time to operate a charter to Manchester that afternoon, returning to Stansted the following day before being ferried to the airline’s base at Southend. G-JOTR operated two roundtrips on 28 October, to Toulouse as A5 4110/4111 and to Roma Fiumicino as A5 4542/4543, and then was ferried back to Southend. Both are available for charters or ACMI flying.
