Jota Aviation Avro RJ85 G-JOTR (msn E2294) is taking a short break from flying services on behalf of CityJet this week, operating instead for BA Cityflyer on services from London City. She had already been flying from London City, flying to Dublin on behalf of CityJet. She operated her last CityJet service on 1 September, then ferried back to base on Southend. Then on 2 September she returned to London City the next day and operated her first service for BA Cityflyer, a roundtrip to Rotterdam and back as BA 4455/4456, that afternoon. While G-JOTR is flying for BA Cityflyer, the airline’s BAe 146-200, G-SMLA (msn E2047), will fly the CityJet services. She positioned to Dublin on 2 September, directly from Basel, where she had been on a charter, and operated her first flights to London City that same afternoon. Meanwhile, Avro RJ100 G-JOTS (msn E3355) continues to fly for Air France subsidiary Hop!, shuttling back and forth between Lyon and Pau several times a day.
