Sweden’s BRA began operating an Avro RJ100 on behalf of Norway’s Widerøe on 5 November. RJ100 SE-DSR (msn E3244) was ferried from Malmö to Oslo Sandefjord Airport as WF9482, and then immediately operated WF482 to Trondheim and Harstad, returning to Oslo on the reverse itinerary as WF485. The RJ100 will cover for the maintenance of Widerøe’s own Embraer 190-E2. BRA will operate every weekday until mid-December, with the RJ100 returning home to Malmö for the weekend. The specific aircraft assigned to the service may well change on a weekly basis. BRA has often operated Avro RJs on Widerøe’s, though not usually for such extended periods.
