Taban Air‘ Avro RJ85 EP-TBG (msn E2289) suffered substantial damage on 18 January when she was hit by a catering truck at Tehran’s Mehrabad Airport after operating TBN6230 from Isfahan. Ironically, she had returned to service after an extended period of maintenance less than week earlier, on 12 June. With extensive damage to her flaps, fuel tanks, wing surface, and perhaps to the wing spar, she may well be out of service permanently.
