Runway work at RAF Northolt have forced No.32 (The Royal) Squadron to transfer its four BAe 146s to RAF Benson. Northolt’s main runway is closed for resurfacing and other work. The 146s are expected to remain at Benson about six months. The 146s are no strangers at Benson, having been based there until 1996, when the Queen’s Flight was merged with 32 Squadron at Northolt.
