Sweden’s Braathens Regional Airlines (BRA) is putting its fleet of eight Avro RJ100s and two RJ85s up for sale, and appointed Skyworld Aviation as its exclusive agent to remarket the fleet, along with spare engines, spares, and tooling. BRA had announced in April that it intended to withdraw its Avro RJs from service and focus its fleet on the ATR72. The RJs will be withdrawn from service relatively rapidly, with the first leaving the fleet in the last quarter of 2019, and the last in the first quarter of 2020. BRA and its predecessor Malmö Aviation have often worked with Skyworld Aviation on a range of transactions.
