Financial problems have apparently forced Greece’s Astra Airlines to suspend operations. The airline started cancelling flights on 9 November. Astra operates a BAe 146-300, SX-DIZ (E3206), as well as two ATR72s and one ATR42. The 146 has had a busy summer, operating a mix of domestic routes and charters. In October, for example, she flew primarily on international routes, visiting numerous times to Tel Aviv, and also flying to Naples, Salzburg, Praha, Warszawa, among others; while her domestic services were limited to a few sectors to Kalamata, Mytiline, and Kos. Her last services was A2 121 from Heraklion to the airline’s base at Thessaloniki.
