RJ100 G-CCTB prior to delivery to Air Libya as 5A-FLB (John Coates)
Tripoli-based Air Libya operated a BAe 146-300 on domestic and international flights in support of the oil industry beginning in 2009. During 2011, the 146 played a role in the fighting to overthrow the regime of Colonel Moammar el-Qaddafi. A 146-200 was added in late 2012, and then two Avro RJ100s a year later. One of the RJ100 and the 146-300 were destroyed in fighting in 2014-15. The status of the remaining aircraft is unclear.
