Swiss European/Swiss Global

Swiss European took over Swiss‘ regional fleet in November 2005. Four Avro RJ85s and fourteen RJ100s were transferred from Swiss. Swiss later disposed of the RJ85s and added six former British Airways CitiExpress Avro RJ100s. All Swiss European aircraft are operated on behalf of Swiss, in that airline’s full colors. The airline was renamed Swiss Global Air Lines on 3 February, 2015. The RJ100s fleet was gradually withdrawn in 2016 and 2017, with the last being retired in August 2017.
