After many delays, EuroManx finally took delivery of the first of two former Azzurra Air Avro RJ70s. EI-CPJ (msn E1258) arrived at the Isle of Man’s Ronaldsway Airport on 17 April in pouring rain. Later that day, she re-positioned to Galway. She then entered service the following day from Galway to London City and return. EI-CPJ and sistership EI-CPK (msn E1260) have been ready for delivery for some time, but have remained in storage. The delays have been due to EuroManx’s lack of an Air Operators Certificate (AOC). EuroManx’s Avro RJs are being operated by Austrian AOC holder ULL14.
