TNT Airways has acquired the two Combi BAe 146-200QCs operated by Axis Airways. TNT intends to maintain the two aircraft in combi configuration and use them for passenger charters beginning in March, complementing their convertible Boeing 737-300s. The first QC, OO-TAY (msn E2211, ex F-GOMA) arrived in January and entered service with TNT on 23 January. Sistership OO-TAZ (msn E2188 ex F-GLNI) should follow in early February. TNT already operates eleven 146QT freighters (three series 200QTs and eight series 300QTs). A further six BAe 146-200QTs are operated on its behalf by Pan Air Líneas Aéreas of Spain.
