Skyways begins Avro RJ100 operations

Skyways Avro RJ100 SE-DSO

Skyways Avro RJ100 SE-DSO lifts off from Stockholm Arlanda (Daniel & Robert Fall)

Transwede began operating an Avro RJ100 on behalf of Skyways on 20 August, using SE-DSO (msn E3221) from sister airline Malmö Aviation. The RJ100 will fly 40 trips a week between Stockholm Arlanda and Halmstad, in southeastern Sweden, providing additional capacity over the Fokker 50 normally used on the route. SE-DSO wears a special color scheme to mark Halmstad’s 700th anniversary on her right side, with the left side in standard Skyways colors.
